Admissions Elementary Preschool Administration Frequently Asked Questions
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

The Preschool Program includes children ages 2 through 4 years. Teaching is based on Christian values and fundamentals that encourage the spiritual, physical, social and academic development of each child. Each age uses a different age appropriate curriculum, though aiming for the same goals of letter and sound recognition, number awareness, science exploration, social studies, cooperative play, respect for the teacher and classmates and learning to follow & obey rules.

LCA offers a 2-day program (T/Th), a 3-day program (M-W-F) or a 5-day program for all preschool children, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Also offered is an extended day program beginning at 7:15 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. for an additional fee (Please see our Before & After Care Program).

CHAPEL: LCA students age three and up attend chapel once each week. During this service in the sanctuary, the children are involved in worship, singing, prayer, and scripture lessons. Puppets are an important part of each lesson as the children learn to sing & praise the Lord.

MUSIC: The music program at LCA has become a favorite of the children. Children in music learn to praise the Lord through song and hand motions, and as they learn the lyrics, they learn more about Jesus. Other fun songs of childhood are also incorporated, giving the children a balance in exposure to a variety of music.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION: PE time is devoted to more teacher guided play. Children learn to follow rules of a game or activity, appropriate to their age, to wait their turn, to cheer their friends, to celebrate success and to cope with disappointments while learning to try again.
